Design for Fort St two-way protected bike lane released!

Biketoria moves forward!

The City of Victoria has released the design for the next street to get the Biketoria treatment – Fort St. A second east-west two-way protected bike lane, the Fort St lane will run from Wharf to Cook streets.

The design calls for signal-protected intersections, keeping people on bikes safe from left hooks – while the left-side design will keep people on bikes away from buses.
