Come join the Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition on the Victoria’s Secrets Tour taking place Car Free Sunday September 19.

Learn some of Victoria’s cycling secrets; those places where bikes can go but cars cannot, and participate in Car-Free Sunday!  The ride begins at the fountain at Centennial Square at 10 a.m. and ends at the same location at about 2:00 p.m.  Be sure to bring a lunch for the lunch stop.  The ride is approximately 20 easy kilometres and includes a tour of Ross Bay Cemetery, led by the Old Cemeteries Society.

Participants are required to wear helmets, and bicycles must be in good mechanical condition.  There will be rest stops but we recommend that you bring water.

Our rides are by donation to help defray GVCC’s costs (suggested donation $5).  For more information, please call 250-382-8619 or email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

GVCC Weekly Leisure Rides PDF Print E-mail

Due to popular demand, the GVCC weekly leisure rides are back!

Many experienced GVCC members may recall the former Sunday sport rides that used to originate from the Moka House Café in Cook Street Village. These rides aim to follow that spirit, with an added emphasis of providing a comfortable riding experience for all riding levels. These rides also tend to be less structured than the GVCC’s themed rides.

Rides typically start at 10:00 on Sunday at Selkirk Station, 80 Regatta Landing in the Railyards development in Vic West. However, this may be subject to change depending on the nature of the ride or other conditions.

For more information about the weekly rides program or to check on the status of a ride, please contact Darren at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or check out our Facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=43874934725.

For weekly ride updates or reminders, please forward your email address to Darren and you can be put on the riders list. This way, you won’t miss a ride!
