Lansdowne bike lane nears completion

Lansdowne bike lane nears completion

A crucial connector from Shelbourne St to Camosun & UVic is nearing completion on Lansdowne Rd – a Saanich project that will eventually run from Shelbourne St to Foul Bay Rd. The project will have a mixture of painted bike lanes & protected, sidewalk-level bike lanes with a multi-use trail on Camosun property.

The GVCC supported the District of Saanich in their successful application for a BikeBC grant last year; another example of how help get bikeways built in the capital region.
