New section of E&N should be opening soon

The latest section of the E&N Rail Trail – Humpback Connector should be opening soon, closing a key gap through Esquimalt & Songhees Nations. While the trail has been built & open in both Esquimalt and View Royal for several years, this gap remained as discussions continued with First Nations over privacy concerns. The new trail section, which is being built alongside the Admirals Rd rebuild by the Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure, routes up to Admirals Rd and then back down Hallowell, while still avoiding the massive hill by Songhees Wellness Centre.
