Come to a meeting about Oak Ave bike lanes

Update: The meetings have passed but you can still comment at the City’s website:

The South and North Jubilee Neighbourhood Associations are hosting a pair of meetings this week to learn about getting the Jubilee alignment options, including a potential protected bike lane on Oak Bay Ave within the City of Victoria.

More Details about the Corridors

There are three options: Fort St, Leighton Rd and Oak Bay Ave. Both Fort St and Oak Bay Ave would be protected bike lanes, while Leighton Rd would be shared.

The three Jubilee options – Fort St, Leighton Rd or Oak Bay Ave

Why do we support Oak Bay Ave?

We support Oak Bay Ave as the priority because of the need for bike routes to directly connect destinations such as our urban villages, as well as the lack of any existing bike lanes on the street.
