More people cycling, more places, more often

Support protected bike lanes downtown

The protected bike lane network (formerly Biketoria) of All-Ages and Abilities (AAA) bikeways is already under constructionou along Pandora Ave, but we still need your support to keep the rest of the network moving.

What is happening next?

Pandora Ave is now open. Shortly after that the Victoria council will vote on the Fort St design, which is a cruical next step in order to keep the project moving so we can all ride it by 2018

Why protected bike lanes?

Protected bike lanes like Pandora (and in future Fort St) are proven to increase the number of people riding their bike, keep those people comfortable & safe and be good for business.

What is AAA?

AAA stands for All-Ages and Abilities, a term coined by the City of Vancouver to describe bikeways that were safe & comfortable enough for everybody. Sometimes it is also called 8 to 80 – good enough for an 8 year old and an 80 year old. There are only three kinds of AAA bikeway – protected bike lanes with a barrier between moving vehicles & bikes, multi-use trails like the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, and quiet neighbourhood streets with extensive traffic calming

How can you help?
