Neighbourhood Rides

In 2020, the GVCC paused their regular and themed rides in favour of physically distanced Neighbourhood Rides. Enjoy these Scavenger Hunts, Discovery Rides, and Ride the Distance Routes, which were released between May and September 2020.

Take a ride!

  1. Choose a Ride.
  2. Tell us about your ride by sharing your photos, stories or videos on social media and tagging @gvccbc or @biketoworkvic #yyjbike, and by filling out the form at the bottom of this page.
  3. WIN prizes to local restaurants and bike shops! Submissions for prizes will be due on the last day of the activity date posted below. However, these activities aren’t going anywhere – so enjoy them anytime!

Even if you’re completing this ride past the prize submission date, remember to fill out the form at the bottom of the page and tell us about it!

Discovery Rides

Discovery Rides are like self-guided tours through Neighbourhoods across Greater Victoria. Follow our suggested route to find hidden gems, landmarks, and points of interest. Use our google maps routes to help you get from point to point.

Scavenger Hunts

Scavenger Hunts contain 10-15 clues for you to solve while zipping around on your bike. Use our google maps pins to help you find our clues.

Ride the Distance Routes

Those looking for new longer rides can check out of “Ride the Distance” routes. Check out all our rides, ranging from 16 to 60km, below.
